Alizonia's 2nd annual AJC show - April 7, 2007
We had another wonderful night at the AJC!
I want to thank all my friends who participated..the core- Greg Holt on bass and Steve Brown on drums and perpetual madness... and the special guest artists who added so much to my songs - Richard "Rosy Rosenblatt on harmonicas, Andy Solberg on guitars and fiddle & Gail Nickse and Melinda Colaizzi on vocals..
Extra special thanks go out to Eddie Scheer for doing sound, playing drums, bongos, hand percussion, singing and making sure things ran smoothly!
Thanks to the audience who came and brought their energy to the show!
And last, but not least, I want to thank the amazing Gwenn Vivian (again!) for providing one of the most wonderful and warm music venues I have ever known!

Alizonia at the Acton Jazz Cafe - December 8, 2005
We had an inspired night..especially considering it was a Wednesday with the mercury way below freezing! A bit rough around the edges, but no matter! Many thanks to Gwenn Vivian who has created and sustained a very special place that supports the spectrum of musical dynamics with a grace all its own. The ambience, staff and clientele always express an open and welcome vibe to those of us who have the privilege of performing there.
Lincoln Street Coffee - November 19, 2005
A pure haven for wonderful beverages, eats, music and free wi-fi in the heart of Newton Highlands...
Peter Meyers has created a space that harkens to times gone by when the coffee house easily doubled as a live performance venue. My first solo gig in quite a long time, I felt a very special warm and open hospitality from the folks at Lincoln Coffee...an inspired and fun filled evening!
Sleeptalk - November 9, 2005
"She had a nervous breakdown in front of the coffee machine. Life- it's too important...it's not important enough."
-spoken in my sleep about 10 years ago...
...telling myself to keep things in perspective, I suppose...
Sal's Cafe - August 17, 2005
An amazing evening of food, drink, music and art in a wonderful space with fabulous folks!
thoughts - August 16, 2005
There are so many ways to express ourselves...having my own website feels like it wants to be more than just an introduction to my music...
so here are some of my profoundly redundant late night ramblings...
It is overwhelming to consider how accessible we are to each other through this virtual medium..a world that manifests an intruiging intangibility which strongly resembles the ethereal nature of music. This connection stimulates my innate curiosity and beckons me to dive into the sea of creative possibilites with new eyes...
Despite the obvious lack of privacy, have we, perhaps, created an emotionally safe haven where we may comfortably reveal shameful and/or embarassing truths... (because we feel removed and thus protected).. a sanctuary for human vulnerability that invites us to air our grievances, share our imperfections and not be afraid to look at who we really are?
Or.. maybe it just scares the hell out of us and we don't want to have ANYTHING to do with it!
